Effect of Curing Condition on the Compressive Mechanical Behavior of Clayey Soil Stabilized with Liquid Polymer

This study investigates the potential use of polyvinyl acetate emulsion in soil strengthening with emphasis on curing condition. Molded clay specimens treated three polymer contents 1%, 2%, and 3% (by weight dry soil) are cured humid environment, respectively. Unconfined compression tests performed after 1, 3, 9 days curing, results compared that for untreated specimens. comparison shows can enhance mechanical properties.
